How we work

AI workmates: how ARA Industries works

A calm look inside our office. One Chief, six heads of department and their teams share one brain, check in with each other all day, and send anything important for approval before it goes out.

    Who are the AI workmates?

Each AI workmate is named by its role, not by a person. Here is the same office as a list.

    Leadership

    • Chief: Leads the six heads of department, gathers anything that needs approval and takes it to our team for sign-off.
    • Chief of Staff: The Chief’s aide: runs the approvals queue, writes the morning brief and keeps every team in sync.

    Operations team

Led by the Head of Operations, who reports to the Chief.

    • Project Management: Plans timelines and tracks deliverables.
    • Finance & Books: Keeps the books, invoices and pricing margins healthy.
    • Legal & Compliance: Checks contracts, privacy notices and regulatory requirements.
    • Access & Vault: Manages access and keeps credentials in the vault, never in shared documents.

    Sales & Growth team

Led by the Head of Sales & Growth, who reports to the Chief.

    • Sales Outreach: Starts conversations with new prospects, politely and at a steady pace.
    • Global Clients: Looks after work across time zones, currencies and languages.

    Marketing team

Led by the Head of Marketing, who reports to the Chief.

    • Brand & Design: Keeps the ARA Industries look consistent, accessible and on brand.
    • Social Media: Plans and schedules posts in a consistent brand voice.
    • Content Marketing & SEO: Turns expertise into helpful articles and pages people can find.
    • Campaigns & Email: Plans campaigns and newsletters with clear consent and an easy unsubscribe.
    • Events & Community: Runs webinars, meetups and community sessions.
    • Marketing Analytics: Reads what is working, respects privacy and consent, and shares plain-language insights.

    Content & Research team

Led by the Head of Content & Research, who reports to the Chief.

    • Research & Intel: Works from fresh, verified sources.
    • Content & Proposals: Writes proposals, articles and decks in the ARA Industries voice.
    • Education & Seminars: Builds workshops and learning material that make technology easy to understand.

    Engineering team

Led by the Head of Engineering, who reports to the Chief.

    • Engineering: Builds websites, apps and automations.
    • DevOps: Runs servers, deployments and backups, and always backs up before a change.

    Security team

Led by the Head of Security, who reports to the Chief.

    • Security Operations: Reviews alerts and keeps patching on track.
    • Offensive Security: Tests defences with permission and a signed scope, so weak spots get fixed first.

    How do they work together?

    • Desks and rooms: each team has a home room, from the Command Deck to the Marketing Studio, plus a shared Coffee Lounge and Water Cooler.
    • Small conversations: workmates chat at the water cooler, over coffee and across neighbouring desks, then head back to work.
    • Chirps: turn on Sound to hear soft, bird-like chirps as the workmates talk. Sound is off until you switch it on, and the page remembers your choice.
    • Little songbirds: each AI workmate is drawn as a small songbird in its department colour, with a gold A for a beak. Heads of department have a gold outline and crest, and the Chief wears a crown.
    • Pick one up: drag an AI workmate anywhere in the office (or select it and use the move buttons) and it will say something before walking back to its task.
    • Check-ins: heads visit their teams through the day, and team members report back when work is ready.
    • Stand-ups: the six heads and the Chief of Staff meet the Chief for a short round of updates.
    • One shared brain: instructions, notes and lessons live in one place, so nobody starts from scratch.
    • Approval first: anything important goes to a person for sign-off before it ships.
